Orthopedic Surgeon- Sports Medicine

The physician that fills this role will provide clinical services within the scope of practice of his/her specialty and in alignment with the Planetree philosophy and mission of Mid-Columbia Medical Center.

Practice & Hospital:

• Mid-Columbia Medical Center (MCMC) is a non-profit 49-bed, Level III trauma center
• MCMC was recently named one of Oregon’s 2018 Top Workplaces!
• MCMC Orthopedics and Sports Medicine offers locations in The Dalles, OR & Hood River, OR
• Currently a three-provider practice with substantial ancillary support including medical assistants and administrative staff.
• Outstanding referral base of 150 providers in our system
• Call ratio 1:3

Minimum Education, Training & Experience (includes licenses or certifications):

• Active Licensed MD or DO in the state of Oregon
• Board Eligible or Certified in area of their specialty
• Current DEA License

 Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

• Positive and highly collaborative interpersonal and communication skills with provider colleagues, patients, families, and the community.
• Willingness and ability to expand and maintain clinical competence in the specialty field, working closely with highly competent primary care, specialty medical and surgical care.
• Experience with electronic health records. EPIC electronic health record experience a plus.
