Successful candidates should be eligible for a faculty appointment at the University of Texas at Austin, Dell Medical School and board certified / board eligible in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.

The Department of Women’s Health encompasses the full range of subspecialties including:

•General Obstetrics and Gynecology,

•Maternal Fetal Medicine,

•Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery,

•Gynecologic Oncology

•Reproductive Endocrinology

The candidate will be responsible for providing evidence-based, multidisciplinary care for women with urogynecologic conditions, and educating the next generation of leaders in obstetrics and gynecology and female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. The group supports an accredited fellowship in FPMRS and participates in the training of residents and medical students.  The group has an active research agenda and candidates will participate in the educational and research mission of the Department.

The position will report to George Macones, MD, MSCE, Chair of the Department of Women’s Health at the Dell Medical School

Required Qualifications:

•Medical degree from an accredited medical school

•Board certified / board eligible Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery

•Eligible for faculty appointment at The University of Texas at Austin, Dell Medical School

•Evidence of scholarly productivity and experience educating trainees
