PM&R Medical Director needed for new 16-bed inpatient rehab unit located on the campus of Centerpoint Medical Center.

Centerpoint Medical Center is assisting in the search for a full time PM&R Medical Director interested in building a practice. Located 20 miles east of downtown Kansas City, this opportunity features a brand new unit with a strong referral base to support the program.

The opportunity features the following:

  • Hospitalist teams support nights and weekends
  • Option to consult at Centerpoint Medical Center
  • Medical Director stipend available
  • Ability to be involved in pain management, outpatient clinic, and/or injections/procedures based on your practice preferences and interests.
  • The ideal candidate will be Board Certified or Board Eligible, if newly trained, PM&R subspecialist, with active Missouri medical license or willingness to obtain.

An interest in program development and patient-centered commitment to excellence is critical. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills are required. Hospital-based physiatry experience preferred but not required.
