Physician - Allergy/Immunology

Virginia Mason Medical Center (VM), an award-winning multi-specialty integrated delivery system and regional referral center located in Seattle, Washington, is seeking a full-time BC/BE allergist/immunologist to join our team of 4 board certified allergists.  

We are looking for a team-oriented physician who is eager and excited to see patients.  The position would involve management of patients in the downtown Seattle clinic and one or more days each week in one of the Virginia Mason Regional Medical Centers.  We have a busy practice across the Greater Seattle area and are searching for a new team member to help us meet our growing demand.    

We provide diagnosis and treatment of a full spectrum of allergic and immunologic disorders.  Candidates have the opportunity to be involved with the Benaroya Research Institute as well as a funded and growing clinical research program in various allergic disorders.  Virginia Mason/Benaroya Research Institute is part of the FARE Clinical Centers of Excellence Network.  VM allergy/immunology specialists are active in teaching Virginia Mason Internal Medicine Residents, University of Washington Allergy/Immunology training fellows, and medical students.   

We are seeking allergists/immunologists with the aptitude and desire to build leadership experience.  VM will support physicians in their leadership development, if candidate is interested.  Prefer candidates with desire for continuous process improvement, and also the ability to think strategically and collaborate effectively on teams.   

Qualifications:

• BC in Pediatrics or Internal Medicine

• BC/BE Allergy & Immunology

• Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WA.

• Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice.
