As the sub-specialty neurology programs mature, Mount Carmel Neuroscience is evolving towards discreet in-patient and outpatient neurology services. The selected candidates will practice full time in the acute-care setting, providing exceptional in-patient care. The ideal candidates are neurologists interested in growing into an acute neurology team in collaboration with the comprehensive/primary stroke centers and supporting the Stroke Center Network operations.
The Mount Carmel Neuroscience Program is based on four hospital campuses in Columbus, Ohio. Mount Carmel St. Ann's Hospital is located in Westerville; Mount Carmel East Hospital is located just outside beltway on the east side of Columbus; Diley Ridge Medical Center is located in Canal Winchester; and our new Mount Carmel Grove City campus, which opened in 2019. All facilities are certified stroke centers with acute stroke intervention performed at East, St. Ann and Grove City. We have established Epilepsy/EMU, MS Center, movement disorders services, and a Level II trauma center.
Each of the neurology clinic practices has outpatient neurologists with embedded neuro-psychology/neuro-psych testing and neurosurgery (Grove City). As a part of the Mt. Carmel Health System team you will enjoy the benefits of:
