The Department of Dermatology at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University is offering a one-year advanced fellowship in complex medical dermatology/dermatology-rheumatology starting July 1, 2020. Candidates should be board eligible/board certified in dermatology in the United States.
We seek dermatologists looking to build or further their careers in an environment which fosters personal growth and development. This fellowship provides a unique opportunity to train with dermatologists and rheumatologists co-managing complex patients with multi system disease at a major regional referral center. We currently have multiple half-day clinics every week with dermatology and rheumatology working together, synchronously. We also collaborate closely with gastroenterology, allergy/immunology, pulmonary and ophthalmology to provide high-level patient care and enrich the training experience. With myriad interdisciplinary and collaborative opportunities available in the Department including with dermatopathology and radiology, we are excited to offer this unique training opportunity. An interest in patient-oriented research is also highly encouraged.
Interested candidates should send a brief letter of interest and curriculum vitae to Abrar A. Qureshi, MD, MPH via email@example.com
