Physiatrist Pain Specialist Opportunity in Kansas City, MO; Manageable Workload & Sign on Bonus!

The Kansas City VA Medical Center is seeking a full-time Pain Medicine Physiatrist. Duties include performance of interventional pain procedures that include: epidural steroid injections; medial branch blocks; radio frequency denervation; occipital and peripheral nerve blocks; sympathetic blocks; spinal cord stimulator trials; intrathecal catheter trials; discography; vertebroplasty/kyphoplasty); and opioid management. See patients in rehabilitation medicine clinic, provide medical management of pain, and perform ultrasound guided injections. Teaching of residents and opportunity for faculty appointment at University of Kansas. Completion of PM&R residency, PM&R board eligibility/certification and pain fellowship required.

No on call! Manageable workload; 10-12 patients a day; outpatient only!
