Vascular Surgery

Mercy Medical Center is looking for 1 Full-time Vascular Surgeon!

Additional Details:

• Practice currently has 1 surgeon with enough elective/ emergent volume to support 2+.

• Ideal candidate will both evaluate and schedule/ perform elective surgery as well as provide inpatient rounding/ some call coverage

• Recruiting for permanent 2nd vascular surgeon ongoing; locums contract length open-ended but anticipate 6mo minimum.

• Both clinic/ OR days 7a-5p

• Weekday call 5pm-7am

• 7am-7am (24 hr)

• Call rate: $2,360/day

*1 weekend a month is NOT enough availability*

• 100% Adult

• Office/Clinic - 60% / Hospital -40%

• Average number of patients per day in Clinic: 20-25

• Average number of patients per day in Hospital: 5-7

• EMR: Office- Epic / Hospital - Meditech

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

• Board Certified Vascular Surgery- Required

• MA license at time of submission - Required, no exceptions

• Clean Malpractice/Background for quick credentialing - Required

• Availability at name clear - Required

• Local, no flights - Highly preferred

COMPENSATION
290 / hour
