The Department of Medicine is seeking a BC/BE critical care nocturnist to join a rapidly growing academic Division of Critical Care at Hackensack University Medical Center, the University Hospital for Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine at Seton Hall, a member of the Hackensack Meridian Health System.

Critical Care Medicine faculty provide clinical care, training and education for fellows, residents, and medical students. They also provide leadership for critical care initiatives and pursue quality and clinical research, reporting to the Division Director of Medical Critical Care. The Divisional clinical responsibilities include ICU, step-down, and consultation service rotations.

Ideal candidates must demonstrate excellent clinical and teaching skills, have or be eligible for ABIM certification in critical care, and be able to obtain professional licensure in the State of New Jersey, with preference for candidates with training in internal medicine and critical care. Additional training in pulmonary, nephrology or infectious diseases is advantageous.
