Baptist Health Fort Smith (BHFS) is recruiting a Neurosurgeon to join an existing surgeon. The recruitment need is to grow the neuroscience program line.
This is an employed opportunity with Baptist Health Physician Services (BHPS) which is the employed physician group for BHFS. The call is 1:3 which is shared among the existing employed surgeon as well as another surgeon in town. There is pent up demand in the market for neurosurgical services. BHFS is a 492-bed, full-service hospital. Services that support the neurosurgery program line include Hospitalists, Neurologists, and an Interventional Radiology service that has proven extremely beneficial to the existing surgeon. The neurology program line is expanding as well. Recruitment efforts are underway to add to the existing group of three Neurologists. That group includes one physician who has a largely inpatient practice and two physicians who see clinic patients only.
