St. Joseph Regional Medical Center is seeking a BC Interventional Gastroenterologist for ongoing coverage starting September 3, 2019.

• Cost Center - GI Clinic

• Specialty Needed - Advanced Interventional Gastroenterologist

• Schedule Hours for Clinic /Hospital - Scheduled patients for both clinic and procedures is 8a-4:30p

• Schedule Days Clinic /Hospital - Hospital procedures Monday and alternating Thurs. and Fri

• Number of patients seen per day in clinic - 14-20

• Call Night /Weekend - 10/Month including at least one weekend

• What is the Number of phone Consults - 4-6/day on call

• What are the days for Call - Varies

• What Time does the Call start- 7:00 am

• What Time does Call end - 7:00 am

• What support staff is available - RN's and Endo Tech until OCT 19 then Anesthesia will be added to the
team

• Age of patients - Varies, can be adolescent up to end of life adult.

• Inpatient /Outpatient - In and out patient

• Type of Charting /EMR -Meditech and Procedural documentation in Summit

• Board Certified or Board Eligible - Gastroenterology desire Hepatology not required

• Is Fellowship required - Advanced Endoscopy, Need proficiency in ERCP

• Reason For Need - Retired physician

• How Long Does Credentialing Take - 3 weeks but can be expedited when needed

• Are Temp Privileges Granted - Yes

• Schedule you need filled - 7-10 days/month

• Rounding - as needed

• Average Number of Admissions per shift - varies, admissions are managed by Hospitalists
