Baystate Wing Hospital (BWH) is a 74-bed hospital which operates in close partnership with 5 community medical centers and Baystate Mary Lane Outpatient Center in the Palmer, ­MA area.  We deliver high quality, patient-centered care with physicians who specialize in 45 medical disciplines, including adult and family medicine, general surgery, psychiatry, obstetrics and gynecology, and pediatrics.  Our close affiliation with nearby Baystate Medical Center / University of Massachusetts Medical School - Baystate means our patients and providers have a vast team of academic generalists and specialists at their fingertips.  We offer a diverse culture that provides outstanding opportunities for physicians to start or advance their career. 

Baystate Wing Hospital (BWH) is seeking a BC/BE Emergency Medicine Physician to join our growing team at our community location. 

Position Highlights:

  • Our new state-of-the-art 20-bed Emergency Department at BWH opened in September 2018. Every detail is focused on providing excellent patient experience.
  • Our Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers handle approximately 20,000 annual patient visits. APPs run the fast track.
  • Strong specialty support on site as well as at nearby Baystate Medical Center in Springfield MA. BMC is our flagship academic hospital and level 1 trauma center.
  • Strong local and organizational leadership means that you are well connected with our system-wide EM team to ensure great standards of care and opportunities for professional development.

We are pleased to offer up to a $20,000 bonus for this position.  Inquire about student loan forgiveness options.
