The Mount Sinai Health System is currently seeking two full-time Endocrinologists to join Mount Sinai Doctors Long Island in Huntington and Mount Sinai South Nassau!

The chosen candidate will become part of a multi-specialty team in the heart of Long Island. The candidate must have an interest in working in an ambulatory practice. Through the existing providers, the practice can generate a significant number of referrals for the endocrinologist. This position is all outpatient, but physician can likely do hospital consults on patients of the practice if he or she is interested in doing so. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Position Description:

  • Work with a multi-specialty team of internists, gastroenterologists, and cardiologists in the heart of Long Island
  • Serve a diverse population and live in a neighborhood with excellent school districts and numerous cultural activities
  • All outpatient
  • Regular Monday to Friday hours with one evening per week
  • Support staff: Medical assistants and part-time CDE
  • Call schedule example: No hospital, possibility of telephone call with other Long Island endocrinologists
  • EMR system: Epic
  • No administrative, teaching, or research responsibilities

Position Qualifications:

  • Medical Degree from an Accredited University
  • New York Medical License
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Endocrinology

  • Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills
  • A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven Health System

The multi-specialty group has three facilities located at 325 Park Ave, Huntington, NY 11743, 61 Southern Blvd, Nesconset, NY 11767, and 61 East Main Street, Bay Shore, NY 11706.
