The Department of Ophthalmology at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking an outstanding Comprehensive Ophthalmologist for positions as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor. Candidates should have an MD degree and be board certified or board eligible in ophthalmology, and be eligible for medical licensure in the state of Texas. Interests should be primarily comprehensive ophthalmology; however, supplemental subspecialty interests will be considered. Applications from new or established clinician educators are encouraged as well as those with resident supervision experience.

The position will entail 50% responsibilities in staffing residents at Fort Worth (Tarrant County) public hospital where four residents rotate, as the Associate Chief of Service at John Peter Smith Hospital, and 50% effort as our established state of the art fully capable faculty practice satellite office.
