Ob/Gyn

The San Mateo Ob/Gyn group is seeking to add a sixth partner to share our surgical and delivery volume as of 11/2019

• We feature a collegial atmosphere of responsible physicians focused on the underserved in San Mateo County.
• Ours is a true generalist practice managing problems ranging from gestational diabetes to urogynecolgy.
• The members of our group are passionate about teaching and mentoring residents on Labor and Delivery as well as in the Gyn OR, and we are looking for someone who shares this drive.
• We have a high surgical volume, with three OR blocks a week and as a new member of our team you would have protected OR time.
• Obstetrics call occurs one day a week at a renown teaching hospital, where we support the residents who manage the patients.
• Our service works closely with the high risk service and there is back up with both MFM and GYN oncology.

Highlights of this position:

• We view full time as 2.5 days in clinic, with 1/2 day in the OR, and one day on call.
• We emphasize no clinical duties post-call.
• Our group has over 50 years of surgical experience and would be happy to mentor recent grads who would like to hone their suite of OR skills.
• We provide for six weeks paid leave per year, with coverage provided.
• We would gladly look at part-time candidate or a candidate seeking to job share.
