Established as a small dusty logging, cattle and later oil-boom town, Humble has come quite a way as a community in its 130 plus year history – history you can still see today as you walk through our old downtown, visit the Charles Bender High School Performing Arts Center, or Lambrecht's Artesian Well. However, we have never been a city that rests on its laurels as Humble has rapidly established itself as a major commercial and retail hub for the northern Houston Metropolitan area – making Humble uniquely located at the corner of progress and history. Humble is a great little suburb located 20 miles northeast of Houston. This city is a treasure trove of diverse artistic and cultural entertainment venues so there's always something to keep you entertained. Freeway access connects you to the heart of downtown Houston so you can enjoy the Houston Astro's, Houston Rockets or Houston Texans professional sports teams!
