Emergency Medicine EM Physician

Envision Physician Services is seeking Full-Time EM ­Physicians to Join Our Team in Woodbridge, Virginia.

Providers will be cross-credentialed at both Woodbridge and Lake Ridge (a free-standing Emergency Department) and have the option to cover shifts at both locations.

Facility Information

Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center is a 190-bed high acuity not-for profit community hospital less than 25 miles from Washington D.C. Many physicians that work at this facility live in D.C., Alexandria, Arlington, and Fairfax so the hospital is commutable from a variety of different surrounding areas. Sentara Northern VA Medical Center's clinical services include advanced imaging, cancer services, cardiovascular care, lab services, orthopedics, weight loss services and more. Sentara provides high-quality emergency care with physicians that are board certified and specially trained in emergency medicine.

Emergency Department Profile:

• 47,000 annual patient visits
• 42-bed ED, with Fast Track
• 8 & 10-hour physician shifts (6a-4p, 10a-8p, 3p-11p, 4p-2a, 8p-6a)
• 12-hour APP shifts (7a-7p, 9a-9p, 7p-7a)
• Designated Nocturnists
• Epic EMR
• Scribe coverage

Woodbridge is located in the eastern part of Prince William County in the Northern Virginia region. It is home to Potomac Mills Mall, one of the largest Outlet Malls in Northern VA. Enjoy land and water sports at Leesylvania State Park, which is located on the shores of the Potomac River, including hiking, picnicking, fishing, & boating. There are also several marinas in the area, along with the Northern Virginia Sailing School. Woodbridge also features 2 golf courses, 2 ice skating rinks, the Occoquan Bay National Wildlife Refuge, & nearby wetlands preserves.
