BC/BE Orthopaedic Surgeon

HAAS Spine & Orthopaedics is seeking a full-time board-certified or board eligible orthopaedic surgeon to join a busy orthopaedic spine practice. Orthopaedic surgeon must be willing to work in Glendale, CA, and the Inland Empire. Motivated applicant will benefit from strong bonus structure in addition to base salary. Spine training is a plus, but not a requirement. The HAAS Medical practice also oversees a wellness center which would be incorporated into the new surgeon’s practice. NO ER CALL.

Requirements:

Must be able to demonstrate expertise in orthopaedic surgery diagnoses which includes assessment, intervention and compassionate patient care management. Must be able to interpret radiological exams including x-ray, MRI, CT, etc.

• Prescribe and refill medication, including controlled substances, in accordance with local, state and federal statutes and guidelines.
• Manage patients in such a way as to optimize health outcomes and minimize inappropriate utilization of resources.
• Supervise Physician Assistants / Nurse Practitioners and medical assistants as assigned and when necessary.
• Must be able to use instruments and tools in the operating room for long periods of time.
