RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Medical Director for the Palliative and Supportive Care Services Program for Employment in NJ

RWJBarnabas Health and Rutgers Cancer Institute (CINJ) of New Jersey have an immediate opportunity for a full-time Medical Director for the Palliative and Supportive Care Services program at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. As the palliative care expert you will have the opportunity to provide leadership, clinical oversight, and strategic direction for advancing palliative and supportive care at our institution. Based in the inpatient setting, this position encompasses administrative, clinical, and teaching responsibilities. Experience in the development of a Palliative/Supportive Care Services Program is also desirable.

Successful candidates must be:

  • Board certified or board eligible in Hospice and Palliative Medicine
  • Licensed in NJ or eligible for NJ licensure
  • Fellowship trained in palliative care is highly desirable
  • Team oriented and have strong interpersonal skills
