Clinical Assistant/Clinical Associate Professor
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Michigan Medical School is presently recruiting for a surgical faculty physician to join the lower extremity (hip and knee) adult reconstruction service. The ideal candidate will be Fellowship trained with an interest in resident and fellow education, as well, clinical research and scholarly activity is required. Besides patient care, specific duties also include teaching medical students, house officers and fellow and conducting/participating in clinical outcomes research.
Candidates should have an M.D./D.O. and be board certified or eligible for certification; completed specialty fellowship training in hip and knee reconstruction surgery; hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses in the State of Michigan; demonstrate outstanding teaching and clinical care abilities; have associated research interests; and should have interest in clinical outcome studies.
