The Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University seeks an individual to join our team as a full-time faculty in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences.  The selected physician will provide general gynecology and obstetrical care to patients at Temple University Hospital and its outpatient facilities, and will participate in the education and training of medical students and residents.

Successful candidates will be bc/be and have the ability to obtain medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania prior to their start date. The selected candidate will possess outstanding clinical skills and must work independently and collaboratively with other health care providers and support staff and possess the credentials that will qualify for a faculty appointment at a minimum level of Assistant Professor.  The position requires a strong interest in teaching including bedside and didactic teaching and resident supervision.

Temple University Hospital (TUH), a 728-bed tertiary- and quaternary-level acute care hospital, is in the same campus as the School of Medicine. TUH is a high volume urban medical center, with over 338,000 outpatient visits and over 2,600 births annually.  The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences employs approximately 30 MDs or MD/PhDs plus supporting administrative, nursing and research staff. There are five clinical divisions including General Obstetrics and Gynecology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (Urogynecology), Reproductive Endocrinology and Gynecologic Oncology. The department supports 21 residents.
