Trinity Health Of New England - the region’s largest nonprofit health system - has an excellent employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Hospitalist to deliver care within Mercy Medical Center located in Springfield, Massachusetts.

In this full time opportunity, you will join an experienced hospital medicine staff covering daytime shifts. Here, you’ll practice in a 251-bed, acute care hospital alongside a care team of thirty physicians, most whom have between 6 to 20 years' of experience, and ten advanced practitioners who provide dedicated support to the hospitalist team. Mercy Medical Center also has a closed Intensive Care Unit staffed by a dedicated team of intensivists. The hospitalist program started in 1993, making it one of the first in the nation to provide 24/7 care by in-house physicians who are Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. The hospitalist program grew out of the desire to make the hospital safer and more efficient for inpatients.
