Thoracic Surgeon

The Division of Thoracic Surgery at Tufts Medical Center is actively recruiting for an additional surgeon in our growing practice. We have a strong tradition for providing superb care for a full spectrum of thoracic and esophageal diseases including a very successful minimally invasive program.  While our practice is primarily focused at our Academic Medical Center, this position will primarily be at one of our partner community hospitals, Portsmouth Regional Hospital -- situated only an hour from Boston on New Hampshire’s Seacoast. Portsmouth Regional Hospital is a 220-bed hospital providing tertiary level services to the Seacoast including Level II trauma, a Comprehensive Cardiac surgery program and is a provider of Graduate Medical Education through a partnership with Tufts University Medical School. The New Hampshire Seacoast is rich in abundant history, New England charm and cultural activities. It is a wonderful place for individuals and families alike to live.  

The successful candidate will be board certified in both General Surgery and Thoracic Surgery, and will possess outstanding clinical skills, a strong interest in clinical education, and must qualify for a faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Tufts University School of Medicine. This is a great opportunities for a robust clinical practice with the support of senior surgeons.
