The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Department of Surgery is seeking applicants for the position of academic Vascular Surgeon at the assistant or associate professor level. The successful candidate must be BE/BC in Vascular Surgery, with a comprehensive skillset and knowledge base of advanced endovascular, percutaneous interventional, minimally invasive and open vascular procedures. The candidate should have exemplary team spirit, collegiality, and a commitment to teaching general surgery residents and medical students.  

Mentorship of faculty to grow in their careers and fulfill their personal and academic goals is a commitment of the Chair and senior faculty, who have a strong track record of helping newer members seamlessly join the team. The department works with the TTUHSC Clinical Research Institute to provide extensive support for faculty developing careers in clinical and outcomes research. Innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration and educational research and curriculum development are also highly valued, and are included in scholarship criteria for tenure and promotion.
