Job Details
Lexington Oncology is seeking an experienced board certified Gynecologic Oncologist to join our team of 6 highly skilled Hematologist/Oncologists and 2 Radiation Oncologists. Lexington Oncology is an employed group within the Lexington Medical Center network of care.
Lexington Medical Center is a 485-bed acute care hospital network in West Columbia, South Carolina. In March of 2019, the Medical Center opened the doors to the largest clinical expansion in South Carolina's history. The network includes six community medical centers, an occupational health facility, the largest nursing home in the Carolinas, an Alzheimer's care center, and 77 physician practices with 365 employed physicians.
In addition to the clinical expansion, Lexington Medical Center Cancer Center expanded to meet the needs of patients in a new medical oncology facility that encompasses 60,000 square feet and includes infusion, outpatient pharmacy, imaging and ancillary patient-directed services, such as our navigation services and Cancer Registry.
We have kept pace with radiation therapy technology with industry-leading Varian TrueBeam accelerators and radiosurgery capability
Our cancer programs are certified by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer and the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers.
By partnering with Duke Oncology Network for research and cancer care, we provide access to national clinical trials, in concert with our extensive in-house research team.
