Gastroenterology

Queen of the Valley Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE Gastroenterologist for coverage starting on August 13, 2019 - December 30, 2019.

Dates Needed:

• 8/13-27

• 9/11-26

• Future dates: TBD

Additional Details:

• Caseload: 100% Adult

• Avg. No. of hospital patients per physician per day: 4-6

• Office Equipment: Olympus scopes, EUS equipment available

• EMR: Meditech, Sharevue

• Time needed to obtain privileges: 1 month if clean/complete file

Clinical Areas:

• Required: Inpatient Gastroenterology

• Preferred: Inpatient Internal Medicine

Procedures:

• Required: Upper GI Endoscopy w/ (Biopsy, Foreign Body Removal, Fulguration of bleeder, injection of varices, banding of varices, ERCP), Diagnostic procedures, Therapeutic procedures, esophageal dilatation/manometry, Lower GI endoscopy, Rigid/Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy with biopsy/excision of polyp.

• Preferred: Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy, Esophageal Manometry Interpretation, Endoscopic Ultrasound.

Credentials:

• BC (ABMS/AOA)

• BE within 2yrs of Residency

COMPENSATION
270 / hour
