Rezin Orthopedics and Sports Medicine (ROSM), a mid-size, single specialty group with modern state-of-the-art offices is seeking a successor for a busy and well-known physician in the practice who recently retired. ROSM is seeking to employee a physician who is motivated, has a strong work ethic and desires to become part of a successful, orthopedic group. This is an AMAZING opportunity for an Orthopedic Surgeon since you will be addressing an established community need and embedded in a well-managed practice that’s been deeply rooted in a large service area with a very good payor mix for over 27 years.

Seeking new or experienced candidates. Incoming physician would expect to see a variety of cases including joint, shoulder, trauma cases along with some general orthopedics.

SCHEDULE: Outpatient offices are located in Ottawa, Morris & Joliet, plus block surgery time at Morris Hospital and Deerpath Ambulatory Surgical Center (onsite at ROSM’s Morris campus). Surgery blocks are either AM or PM, some whole day surgeries, depending. An average half-day block consists of about 3-5 small cases. Otherwise, up to 4 total joints are typically done in a full-day block or up to 10 smaller cases in a half-day block, depending on type of case load.

• For clinic, generally 25-50 patients are seen in a full day. 10-20 in a half-day depending on the time of the year, and physician’s way of practice.
• Morris: 9 exam rooms
  • Services available onsite = Lab, X-Ray with C-arm and MRI (superb Radiologist support), DME, Fluoroscopy suite, Workman’s Comp, and Physical Therapy. In the future the group plans to add-on physiatry, additional sports medicine services, ortho-urgent care and osteoporosis clinics.
• Ottawa: 6 exam rooms, plus podiatry, cast room, onsite X-Ray and Physical Therapy.
• Joliet: 6 exam rooms, plus podiatry, cast room, onsite X-Ray and Physical Therapy.
• Morris Hospital – Surgery, Inpatient and Outpatient support services.
• Deerpath Ambulatory Surgical Center - currently has 2 surgery suites for Ortho, GI, Eye & ENT. Expansion to 4 surgery suites has been approved, funded and is currently being implemented.

TEAM: ROSM doctors refer to each other and back each other up.

• Current Doctors: Dr. Keith Rezin, Dr. Raymond Meyer, Dr. Mir Ali, and Dr. Kyle Pearson (Podiatry), plus Sue Koeppe, CNP (has her own clinic) is Dr. Rezin’s APP, Maria Wood, PA-C (has her own clinic) and is Dr. Meyer’s APP and Lukas Jakubonis, PA-C is Dr. Ali’s APP – profile coming soon.
• Certified Ortho Techs and ATC’s are used in clinic and surgery (when needed) as support and extenders for doctors.
• Call would be 1:5; holidays are rotated evenly.
