Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon

The Pediatric Orthopaedic Service at Hospital for Special Surgery is seeking a Board-Certified / Board-Eligible, Fellowship-Trained Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon to join the Service.  We are most interested in individuals with particular expertise in  pediatric orthopaedic spine.  This individual should be committed to developing an academic surgical practice with involvement in resident/fellow teaching and clinical research.  This candidate must be qualified to be appointed at the level of Instructor or Assistant Professor and should be eligible to apply to the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

This individual will be joining an established academic practice and will be expected to contribute and participate in research and teaching activities.

The HSS Pediatric Orthopedic service is the #1 ranked pediatric orthopedic program in NYC by US News and World Reports.  Our program is experiencing significant growth at the main campus and we are increasing our presence in our regional markets throughout the tri-state area as well.   Our Service commitments include coverage of Hospital for Special Surgery and, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.  Academic appointment at Weill Cornell Medical College is included with this position.
