Join Our Brand New Employed OB/GYN Practice - Small Town Living near Asheville and Charlotte

Rutherford Regional Health System, a Duke LifePoint facility focused on delivering high quality healthcare close to home, is seeking 2 additional OBGYN physicians to join one signed OB/GYN physician, starting in 2020, to spearhead the development of our own hospital-employed group practice. There is shared call of 1:3 and administration is dedicated to offsetting the call burden while the group is completely staffed.

Rutherfordton, North Carolina is located 1 hour south of Asheville and about 1 1/2 hours from Charlotte, NC.  Rutherford County is a literal gold mine of interesting history. Beautiful historic antebellum homes line Main Street near downtown, along with shops, restaurants and one of the best children's museums in the state. One of the most beautiful man-made lakes in the country, Lake Lure is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Located about 27 miles from Asheville, Lake Lure sits in the Hickory Nut Gorge by lush mountain tops and sheer granite cliffs.
