OB/GYN Physician Openings in Southern Alabama

LifePoint Health, a system of 89 hospitals in 30 states, is recruiting additional OB/GYN physicians to join their practices at Andalusia Health in Andalusia, AL and Vaughan Regional in Selma, AL.

Andalusia Health: Covington OB/GYN is seeking an additional physician to join their busy and growing practice. The office is conveniently located on the hospital campus. The 88-bed facility has a 50-year legacy of caring for the patients of the community. The hospital call is 1:3. Office hours are 8PM-5PM Monday-Thursday and 8AM-Noon on Friday. Andalusia offers a great, small town community, located only 90 minutes from Destin, Florida!

Vaughan Regional: The hospital is replacing a third OB/GYN who recently relocated. Call is 1:3, shared with 2 other established OB/GYN's. The incoming OB/GYN can expect a 5-day work week as they build their own practice on the hospital campus. Vsuites, a C-Section suite and a level 2 nursery. There is a 1:2 nurse to aughan Regional’s 4th floor is dedicated to Labor and Delivery. It features 18 postpartum beds, 6 labor and delivery patient ratio for this service line. 

This service utilizes Centricity monitoring and the Cuddles Security System for its patients. The provider can immediately anticipate seeing patients 2 1/2 days a week in office and performing surgery 2 days per week, and this schedule is flexible. The medical staff consists of more than 75 physicians serving 22 medical specialties. An incoming OBGYN will benefit from an underserved patient base and a community that is experiencing strong need for obstetric and gynecological services. Centrally located in the state, Selma is only a short drive to Birmingham and the Gulf Coast.
