Colorectal Surgeon

The Department of Surgery, section of Colorectal Surgery at MidHudson Regional Hospital and Westchester Medical Center, members of the WMCHealth Network, are accepting applications for a full-time Colorectal Surgeon. This position will be primarily based at MidHusdon Regional Hospital and Westchester Medical Center, or some combination therein and will provide a spectrum of Colorectal Surgery services as well as actively participate in broader colorectal multidisciplinary teams such as Colorectal Tumor Board, Inflammatory Bowel Disease Team, Treatment Planning Conference, and research meetings. This position involves provided comprehensive surgical services in the treatment of colon and rectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, pelvic floor and anal rectal pathologies, and minimally invasive approaches to colorectal surgery. In addition to clinical practice, the candidate is expected to participate in the teaching of surgery residents and medical students. The candidate is expected to develop an area of scholarly expertise and the faculty rank will be commensurate with experience with credentials.

Qualifications:

Candidate must have an MD, or DO degree, must be eligible or have an active New York State license and must be board-eligible or certified in Colorectal Surgery.
