Job Summary:
The surgeons serve both the Chippenham and Johnston-Willis Campuses of CJW Medical center, as well as serving our outpatient cosmetic vein clinic. This practice has a greater than 100 year history in providing exemplary care to our South Richmond community.
The ideal candidate will be:
- BC/BE Vascular Surgeon from an accredited residency program
- Excellent Competencies in both open and endovascular techniques
- Excellent interpersonal skills

FACILITY DESCRIPTION:
CJW Medical Center located in Richmond is one of the premier facilities in Central Virginia. We were recently named one of Healthgrades’ Top 50 Hospitals. CJW is a 758 bed hospital with two medical campuses and boasts the greatest admission volume in the Richmond Metropolitan Area.
The Johnston-Willis campus includes the Sarah Cannon Cancer Center as well as a well developed Neuroscience and Gamma Knife Center. Additionally, Johnston-Willis has a level III NICU as well as Gyn Oncology and Perinatal services on site.
Chippenham Hospital is the highest volume hospital in the greater Richmond area seeing about 100,000 patients per year, of which 30,000 are pediatric cases. We are a Level 2 trauma center with 137 bed attached behavioral health facility. We have inpatient admissions of over 35,000 patients that result in an average of 400 open-heart surgeries, 3,000 cardiac catheterizations, 1,200 EP procedures, and 525 vascular surgeries annually.
