OrthoTennessee Maryville is actively recruiting an orthopaedic surgeon for the Fall of 2020. The focus for this position is general orthopedics with a possible subspecialty interest in sports medicine. Located in the Greater Knoxville, Tennessee area, Maryville sits at the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. Recreation on beautiful area lakes and mountains is plentiful. OTN Maryville is located just south of the University of Tennessee and downtown Knoxville. Maryville has one of the best public school systems in the state of Tennessee.
OrthoTennessee Maryville is a six orthopaedic surgeon division of the larger 55 musculoskeletal physician group, OrthoTennessee. For 45 years, OTN Maryville continues to be the sole provider of orthopaedic care for Maryville and Blount County.
The prospective orthopaedic surgeon will have two days per week office appointments, two days per week scheduled surgery, and one day off. Call coverage is 1 in 5; involves a single hospital and surgery center beside the orthopaedic office. OTN Maryville provides athletic team coverage for a NCAA Division III college and several area high schools.
