Private practice opportunity for a BE/BC Orthopedic Surgeon to perform general orthopedic and total joint procedures in the central Alabama area. This position serves at Citizens Baptist Medical Center located in Talladega. The facility is 45 minutes from metro Birmingham and 90 minutes from Atlanta, GA. Call is 10 days per month plus one weekend unattached. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits will be offered to the appropriate candidate.

Citizens Baptist Medical Center is a 122-bed, multi-specialty facility with approximately 300 employees. The hospital offers a comprehensive range of clinical services including obstetrics, gastroenterology, ENT, orthopedics, cardiology, and a hospitalist program. Citizens is part of the Brookwood Baptist Health network and serves Talladega County, and beyond.

Talladega is home to the Talladega Superspeedway, NASCAR’s popular motorsports park, as well as the International Motor Sports Hall of Fame. For outdoor enthusiasts, Talladega boasts the gateway to Mt. Cheaha, the highest point in Alabama, located within Cheaha State Park which is surrounded by the Talladega National Forest.
