The schedule for this opportunity include a traditional work week plus call and hospital responsibilities, which may include evenings and weekends.  The typical schedule includes 32 hours per week of ambulatory clinic patient contact time plus hospital consults/rounding and call.

Requirements for this position include a strong clinical background, completion of an ASGE, ASCG or AGA accredited Gastroenterology fellowship and ABS certification in Gastroenterology (or obtain such certifications within 3 years of employment).  The opportunity also requires Idaho and Oregon licensure and granting of privileges at SAMC Nampa and other system hospitals as needed to strengthen the Health System’s Gastroenterology program across all the communities we serve.

Saint Alphonsus Health System (SAHS) is the regional leader in telemedicine innovation and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to integrate the use of telemedicine into his/her practice to reach and better serve outlying communities.
