University Hospitals MacDonald Women’s Hospital of Cleveland, has initiated a national search to identify candidates to serve as Medical Director of Women’s Health for our UH Rainbow Center for Women and Children. The UH Rainbow Center for Women & Children is a new, 40,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art center located in a vibrant, growing urban health-tech corridor where health care services offered include general OB/GYN and pediatrics and adolescent primary care. Additional key services provided are dentistry, optometry, group care Centering pregnancy and parenting classes, lactation support, integrated mental/behavioral health services, nutrition education and classes, and ambulatory pharmacy. There are also extensive resources dedicated to addressing the social determinants of health including a full time medical-legal clinic, collaborative partnership with an adjacent new grocery store and our full time nutritionists, and community navigators. The Medical director will have the goal of advancing the field of General OB/GYN through patient care, practice innovation, research, education, community outreach, and advocacy. In addition, we are seeking dynamic individuals interested in optimizing faculty and staff engagement through attention to diversity recruitment, retention, career development, personal leadership development, and effective communication.
