Surgeon to join JMS Burn Center at Swedish Medical Center in Denver

Burn and Reconstructive Centers of America (BRCA) seeks a dedicated surgeon to join the staff of the nation's largest network of burn centers at their location in Denver, Colorado at Swedish Medical Center BRCA operates twelve facilities across the country including the flagship facility: the JMS Burn Center at Doctors Hospital in Augusta, GA, the largest burn center in the U.S. Collectively, BRCA facilities have 237 beds and account for more than 11,958 patient admissions and 80,668 outpatient visits annually. 

Our BRCA Surgeons treat patients of all ages for a wide range of injuries, including thermal, chemical, and electrical burns, skin and soft tissue disorders, extremity injuries and complex wounds. Duties will include inpatient and outpatient care, surgical interventions, Assistance with research efforts and development/education activities of the burn centers. In addition to our burn mission, our surgeons also have opportunities to experience hand surgery, micro vascular reconstruction, plastic surgery, advance wound care and other treatment modalities. 

Education/Qualifications: 
-Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, or Trauma/Critical Care. 

Preferred: 
-Previous experience in one of more of the following: Burn care, wound care, reconstructive surgery, pediatric care, Hyperbaric Oxygen treatment, care of traumatic hand and extremity injuries. 
-Critical Care Certification or experience 
-Willingness to participate in clinical research
