Neurological Surgery

Mercy Hospital is seeking a BC Neurosurgeon for ongoing coverage.

Additional Details:

Endovascular Neurosurgery or Interventional Radiology trained

• Need: 1 week a month, 7 days in a row (week may vary in the month)

• Why need: Vacations and time away

• Shift times: 24 hour shifts as needed intermittently

• Times: Friday 7am- Monday 7am ( could vary)

• Both day and nights needed

• 7 Neurosurgeons in a group

• Call: yes and Call back

• LOCUM NEEDS TO BE ABLE TO DO INTERVENTIONAL AND ENDOVASCULAR PROCEDURES - NO MIDLEVELS TO ASSIST

• Level 1 trauma

• 550 bed

• Must be able to do endovascular procedures

• MUST round in the Intensive Care Unit

• Hospitalist run Codes

• Board Certified is a must

• Will license

• NO - Family Practice

• EPIC - Electric Medical Records

• Must have Advanced Cardiac life support and Basic Life Support

The Endovascular Locum would need the following procedures/training:

Angiography

Angioplasty

Stroke Therapy

Aneurysm Embolization

AVM/Dural AV Fistula Embolization

COMPENSATION
3,000 / day
