Conemaugh Miners Medical Center is seeking a BC Emergency Medicine physician for ongoing coverage starting ASAP

• Credentialing timeframe: 2-3 weeks

• Temp privileges: No

• Annual Volume of facility: 10,000

• Patients: 14-20 ER Visits - 7A - 7P; 8-12 ER Visits - 7P - 7A

• # ED beds: 6

• How many Hours of MD (doctor) coverage: 24

• How many Hours of MLP (physician assistant, midlevel, or nurse practitioner) coverage: - None

• MD Shift Hours: 7a-7p and 7p-7a

UPDATED DATES: (must be able to come the day before for orientation if starting on a dayshift or holiday)

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an Accredited Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Residency

• Board Certified or Board Eligible and within 5 years of residency

• ATLS, ACLS, PALS Certifications Required

• MD or DO

• License to Practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

• Must have Medical Command certificate

The Position:

• Single coverage

• 7A - 7P and 7P - 7A

• Volume 10,025 ER visits annually

• EMR - EPIC

Average volume:

• 14-20 ER Visits - 7A - 7P

• 8-12 ER Visits - 7P - 7A

• Discharge handled by Nurse and physician

• No midlevels

COMPENSATION
265 / hour
