Overview

Due to growth, Reading Hospital is seeking a Geriatrician to join our geriatric medicine team and be part of the Geriatric Center at Reading Hospital.

The 600+bed acute care hospital is an independent academic facility with teaching and clinical responsibilities. The right candidate is looking for an opportunity to provide care to geriatric patients in different settings, teach residents and be part of a team that works to build and adopt models of Geriatric Care with an emphasis on quality.

Job Summary

As a staff member of our independent academic Medical Center, you'll have teaching and clinical responsibilities. You will be part of the Geriatric Center at Reading Hospital and you will provide: Teaching for internal medicine, family practice and OB/GYN residents. Inpatient consultations; Multidisciplinary Senior Assessments.

Candidates must have Pennsylvania medical license or plan on obtaining one.

Should be a team player, flexible, supportive of an academic environment and have strong work ethic.

Qualifications

MD or DO; BC in Internal Medicine; BC/BE in Geriatric Medicine.
