Overview

The Section of Palliative Medicine at Reading Hospital is seeking a motivated BE/BC physician to join a dynamic team of providers to conduct inpatient consultations and grow an outpatient practice.

Job Summary

This full-time position requires weekend call coverage which depends on current coverage of staff. Additionally, the department supports a continual care retirement community that is part of the Reading Hospital. Currently 60% inpatient 40% ambulatory. Ideal candidate must be willing to work both.

Schedule: M-F Dayshift 8a to 5pm

Weekly IDTs

Patient volume 3-4 new consults per day

Qualifications

Position requirements: The ideal candidate is BC in Internal Medicine and BC/BE in Palliative Medicine with a passion for delivering exceptional care. 2 years experience preferred, but will review canddiates fresh out of fellowship.
