The Martinsburg VA Medical Center seeks an Interventional Radiologist to care for Veterans.

Position: 

This opportunity allows you to provide interpretive and patient care services with the scope of general/interventional radiology and other areas such as education and committee service.  I.R. Radiologists perform vascular and non-vascular interventions, including interventional oncology (TACE,Y90, RFA biopsies), peripheral vascular disease 9thrombolysis, PTA, stenting), pain management (facet injections, kyphoplasty,) and chronic liver disease (TIPS); performing a full range of radiologic procedures/special procedures according to established protocols.

  Work with an outstanding and competent staff of nurses and 2 technologists with I.R. experience. Typically, 5-7 patients per day, and not necessarily complicated procedures.

Preferred Candidate: Seeking leadership interest -B.C. CAQ if possible with knowledge of body, and can write SOPs, procedures and eConsults. Light I.R.

Work Schedule: An 8-hour tour between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., primarily Monday-Friday. I.R. shall rotate on General Radiology call, NO weekends.
