Nocturnist Position in Maryland Close to DC and Baltimore

CompHealth is currently assisting a hospital in Maryland with their search for a nocturnist. You will work a flexible block schedule to average 13 shifts per month. One nocturnist covers the ED while the other covers patient floors generally through calls from nurses and occasional bedside care. There is an average 11 to 12 admissions per shift split between the two nocturnists. If it gets too busy then the other nocturnist will help out. They have Intensivists to cover the ICU and excellent specialty support available 24/7. They will consider a board certified family practice physicians with current hospitalist experience.

You can live within a 30 to 45 minute commute. That can be communities close to DC or Baltimore.
