Medical Director – Gastroenterology

Metro Health - University of Michigan Health is seeking a board certified physician to be the Medical Director for the gastroenterology service line.  The following qualifications are required for the position:

  • Previous leadership training or experience preferred
    • Supervising 9 Providers with varying GI specialties
  • Ability to work effectively in a leadership dyad model
  • Must be trained in EUS and ERCP with preference for a minimum of 5 years’ experience
  • Willing to travel to outpatient locations within surrounding counties
  • Willing to do 40% administrative work and 60% clinical work with focus on pancreaticobiliary disease and interventional endoscopy
