Pediatric Anesthesiologist - National Medical Practice

American Anesthesiology of Florida is looking for a BC/BE pediatric anesthesiologist to join our growing practice at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital in Tampa Florida.

  • Our children's hospital is part of a large hospital system which also includes St. Joseph's Main Hospital, St. Joseph's Women's Hospital and St. Joseph's South Hospital which collectively provide a broad range of services to the Greater Tampa Bay area.
  • Our children's hospital provides services which span almost all subspecialties including inpatient and outpatient services for pediatric ENT, neuro, urology, ortho, cardiac and general surgery.
  • Handling over 40,000 cases per year including the second largest OB delivery practice in the state of Florida and a Level-II trauma center, our 32-physician practice works collaboratively with anesthetists in a care team model.
  • Duties will include mostly supervision of anesthetists with occasional solo cases.
  • Pediatric cardiac anesthesia experience is beneficial, but not required.
  • Although the pediatric anesthesiologist will primarily handle pediatric cases, additional adult cases include: general, OB, trauma, ortho, neuro, vascular and endo.
