Vascular Surgery

Abrazo Arizona Heart Hospital is seeking a Vascular Surgeon for ongoing coverage starting on July 8, 2019.

Additional Details:

• Minimum 40 hour work week

• Round on inpatients, hospital coverage as necessary, covering ER, transfers, and unassigned patients

• Split time between Abrazo Arizona Heart Hospital & Abrazo West (Level 1 Trauma)

• ER Call: Up to 10 days per month, can be shared between 2-3 locum providers

• Experience with Endovascular procedures required

• DEA is required; AZ license preferred

• Primarily rounding on inpatients at Arizona Heart Hospital and Abrazo West Campus, a Level 1 Trauma Facility.

• Hospital coverage includes ER, and consults on transfers and unassigned patients.

• ER call is about 10 days per month, which can be split between other locum provider, depending on candidate availability.

• No outpatient clinic days.

*Must be experienced with complex vascular procedures (fenestration, aortic sheaths, complex interventions). Arizona Heart Hospital is a deep tertiary referral destination for these types of complex cases, so it isnt for the less experienced new grad, nor is it a location where a surgeon who is just a venous proceduralist would be comfortable.

COMPENSATION
330 / hour
