The Opportunity

SSM Health Dean Medical Group, a 500-physician multi-specialty group, is actively recruiting for a BE/BC Critical Care Intensivist.

• Seeking a candidate with strong multidisciplinary training with primary training in either Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine
• Ideally seeking a candidate comfortable with post-op surgical, neuro-critical care and trauma, in addition to general medical intensive care unit patients.
• Join a team of seven Critical Care physicians.;
• Rotating day/night schedule, 1week on/ 1 week off.
• SSM St. Mary s is a currently transitioning from a Level 3 program to an ACS Level II Trauma Center and offers a full scope of most medical and surgical specialty areas.
• The hospital has a 12-bed closed Medical Intensive Care Unit and a 15-bed open Surgical Intensive Care Unit.
• The Dean & St. Mary's Cardiac Center includes a 37-bed nursing unit that offers 24-hour telemetry monitoring.
• Dean also provides tertiary care services across an 18 county region through our extensive regional clinic system.
