Pulmonologist Intensivist

Hospital in southern Maine is searching to employ a BC or BE Pulmonary/Intensivist.  You will be joining 4 other Pulmonologists covering a 16 bed Critical Care Unit, as well as Out -Patient clinic work.. Desire to be involved in sleep medicine is not required but is an option. 

Call is "consultant call and ICU only" as there is a strong active Hospitalist service.  There is an interventional pulmonary program as well as an active cancer center and collaborative process for lung cancer care.  This hospital has an active acute care general surgery team and two BC Thoracic surgeons and two vascular surgeons.  Excellent benefit package including 3 pension plans.

ALSO LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO COVER 1 WEEK PER MONTH WITH JUST ONE NIGHT OF CALL PER WEEK.

Community is located in scenic central Maine and is a short drive away form ski resorts, lakes and rivers. Award wining golf courses, abundant hiking trails and the beautiful Maine Coast.  Just one hour north of Portland, Maine's largest city, and 3 hours to Boston.
