Gynecologic Oncology

Vidant Health, located in Greenville, NC is seeking a board certified and fellowship trained Gynecologic Oncologist to assist in their outpatient clinic within the new state-of-the-art Eddie and Jo Allison Smith Cancer Center. New providers will need to come in the day before scheduled start date for orientation.

Coverage Needed:

• September 1, 2019- ongoing

Highlights include:

• Opportunity to work within a well-established healthcare system

• Established team of 1 physician, 1 nurse practitioner/physician assistant, and 1 nurse

• System-wide EHR (EPIC)

• 24-hour Hospitalist and Radiology coverage

• Minimum of 5 years experience required

• Currently contracts for 1 half day of clinic and 1 half day of surgery for Gyn/Onc physician

• Physician Assistant runs clinic 3 half days a week for follow-ups, etc.

• Searching for at least 4 days a week for clinic, Physician Assistant oversight, surgery, etc.

• Inpatient and outpatient

• Some call required; shared with local Gyn/Onc physician

• Daily volumes: Outpatient- 15 patients/day Inpatient- 2-3 patients/day

• Average number of patients/day/provider: 15

• Averages number of admissions/day: 2-3

• Number of surgical cases annually: 68/year

• No ICU/Critical Care responsibilities

• Will serve as back up in Emergency Room

COMPENSATION
340 / hour
