Emergency Medicine - Physician

TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a full-time physician to join our emergency department team at Wayne Hospital in Greenville, Ohio. We ask that you be board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine or board certified in Family Medicine with significant emergency medicine experience. This community ED sees 22,000 patient visits annually with excellent specialty back up, and 10 hours of advanced practice clinician coverage daily make this a nice place to work.

About the Community

Home to The Great Darke County Fair that runs for nine days in August, Greenville is also home to KitchenAid (small appliances), FRAM Group (a leading automotive care products manufacturer), and BASF (North America). There are also historic sites of interest, such as the Bears Mill that was built in 1849 and is an authentic example of a stonegrinding flour mill of its time.

Placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977, it is still in use today to grind cornmeal, whole wheat flour, rye flour, and pancake mixes. Other sites include the Garst Museum and St Clair Memorial Hall, which is the center for the arts in Darke County.
